Miss World America Shree Saini, an Indo-American, has helped Variety, the Children’s Charity, in raising funds for underprivileged children. At the 46th annual “Telethon”, Variety raised $4,08,4646.
She participated in an event that was telecast live in Lowa, a state in the Midwestern United States, from Saturday evening till Sunday, alongside Miss World Toni Ann Singh and Miss World America Emmy.
The pageant beauties appreciated team members of Miss World Organization for their initiative.
By now, nearly $120 million had been raised to fund hundreds of hospitals, which will provide healthcare, treatment and shelters to the deprived children.
Susan Hatten, president, Variety’s Board of Directors, said the organisation would continue to hold such programmes for the needy children in future as well.
