Abhay spends day at home, confident of INLD-BSP win
After a hectic election campaign, INLD’s national general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala took a day off on Sunday to relax with his grandson, Udham Singh, at his residence in Sirsa. Chautala shared that he named his grandson after the freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh and hopes the boy follows his namesake’s path and brings honour to the family.
Meanwhile, INLD supremo and former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala spent the day resting at Teja Khera Farm. With the election results scheduled to be announced on October 8, Abhay expressed confidence that the INLD-BSP alliance will emerge victorious. He dismissed exit polls, stating they have always been inaccurate and would be proven wrong again.
He also took the opportunity to thank BSP leader Mayawati and national coordinator Akash Anand for their support during the campaign, emphasising that their efforts had a significant impact on the alliance’s success, particularly in gaining the trust and votes of all communities, including the Dalits.
Abhay praised the hard work of INLD and BSP workers and party officials, stating that he is proud of their dedication. He further promised that if the INLD-BSP alliance forms the government, they will fulfill their election promises from day one and set an example for the state.
