AAP leader gets extortion threat from gangster
Gangster Jassal Chambal has served a threat to Gursewak Singh Aulakh, a senior leader of the ruling AAP and sought a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.
Gursewak Singh Aulakh, in his complaint to the local city police, said the gangster had been contacting him on his WhatsApp number but he was avoiding the caller, being a suspected person. He said the gangster sent him a WhatsApp message demanding Rs 50 lakh and threatened that he was aware of his son’s movement.
He threatened that in case his demand was not met, he would be harmed. He said the gangster served him threats twice on November 22 and 25. In his message, the gangster said that the state government was contemplating serious action against him and he was in need of money. ASI Inderjit Singh of the city police said a case has been filed.
