Strap: SSR’s sister on Chhichhore winning the National Award
The 67th National Film Awards were held on Monday (October 25) in Delhi. Out of the many awards distributed during the ceremony, Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Chhichhore bagged the Best Hindi Feature Film award. Director of the film Nitesh Tiwari and producer Sajid Nadiadwala received the award, and the late actor was missed by all. Acknowledging the achievement, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to Twitter to thank the team.
Kirti tweeted, “Bhai is sharing this moment of pride with all of us; he is present with us in spirit #NationalFilmAwards Thank You! It makes my chest swell with pride to see the award being dedicated to bhai. Thanks and congratulations to the whole team of #Chhichhore.” Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari dedicated the award to Sushant and also called him “an integral part” of the film. The filmmaker said, “Sushant is an integral part of our film. He made us proud. We are dedicating this award to him.”
