5, Firozshah Road – Kejriwal’s new address

AAP national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will vacate the official Chief Minister’s residence on Friday and will reside at 5 Firozshah Road, the residence of Ashok Mittal, AAP Rajya Sabha MP and founder Chancellor of Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar.

AAP leader and Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said Kejriwal has voluntarily chosen to vacate the official residence despite having no legal obligation to do so.

“He will temporarily relocate to a new address, as the people of Delhi ready themselves to re-elect him to power,” he added. “However, he has decided to remain within the New Delhi assembly constituency,” he said. Meanwhile, Mittal said, “I am delighted to know that Arvind Kejriwal has chosen my house to stay”.
