4 injured after crackers lead to fire in passenger train near Sampla in Haryana's Rohtak

Four passengers were injured as fire broke out in a train near Sampla town of Rohtak district in Haryana on Monday evening.

A box of fire-crackers reportedly kept in a compartment of the Delhi-bound train supposedly led to the fire incident.

Panic spread amongst the passengers as the firecrackers burst and fire broke out in the moving train.

Someone pulled the chain, following which the train halted and the passengers tumbled out from the burning compartment.

Railway officials as well as the Rohtak Superintendent of Police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
