The Gurugram police have arrested four persons for hitting a pedestrian with their car and obstructing the police officials present there from discharging their duties. Those arrested have been identified as Aryan, Vipin, Kamal and Jeet.

The incident took place at AIT Chowk in Sector 56 on Friday when a speeding car hit a pedestrian, leaving him injured. Upon receiving information, a police team reached at the spot. When the officials tried to pacify the driver, Aryan, who was reportedly responsible for the mishap, he and his companions started shouting at them and blocked the officials’ vehicle. They also even threatened and abused the officials.

A police spokesperson said, “They will be produced in a city court on Sunday.”
