3rd mock test held to prepare students for Parakh survey

Students from both government as well as private schools participated in the third mock test to gear up for Parakh survey next month. In the mock test held on Tuesday, students from about 18,000 schools of the state took part.

Preparations are being made on a large scale in the schools to fare well it the Parakh survey, which will be held on December 4.

Students of Classes III, VI and IX participated in this mock test. This test was taken on an OMR sheet. Through this test, the knowledge of language, mathematics and The World Around Us (EVS) of the children of Classes III and Class VI and language, mathematics, science and social science subjects of the children of Class IX was tested.

Earlier, the first mock test was conducted on September 10 and the second on October 9. After assessing the results of both these tests, the Samagra Shiksha and Education Department took necessary steps to remove the deficiencies found in them.
