“District Elementary Education Officers (DEEOs) have been directed many times that a daily report about serving of fresh mid-day meal to students from Class I to VIII is to be uploaded on the portal mandatorily. Despite directive, cent-percent report is not being uploaded on the portal in many districts,” said a letter sent to the DEEOs from the office of Director General, Elementary Education, recently.

The letter states that on November 28, cent-per cent data of mid-day meal was updated by schools in Faridabad, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat and Rohtak districts. The letter further states that report of 369 schools in 14 districts was not uploaded on the portal indicating that the meal was not served to students in schools on November 28.
