Three students of Panjab University (PU) Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations have cleared Haryana Civil Services Judicial Examination conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission.

Madav Mittal, Alpna Singh rank and Uditi Mittal got 39th, 42nd and 62nd rank, respectively, in the prestigious examination.

The centre charges a subsidised concessional fee from aspirants of SC/ST category and a nominal fee from students of other categories.

Prof Sonal Chawla, director of the centre, congratulated the students and expressed happiness over their selection. She said the centre had a rigorous and a thorough mechanism for preparing students for competitive examinations.

The admission to the course for UPSC IAS preparation is through the entrance test. For other courses and mock interviews, the centre constitutes a panel comprising senior beaureacrats, judges, etc to acclimatise the students of the environment they would face during final interviews, she added.
