3 nabbed for selling remdesivir in black

Karnal: A team of the Panipat CIA-1 late on Tuesday evening arrested three persons — Keshav of Kalandar Chowk, Sunil of Jalalpur and Sumit of Gurunanakpura of Panipat — for allegedly selling anti-viral drug remdesivir on the black market. They were selling the injections at a higher price (Rs 35,000 per vial). A case was registered. TNS

2 Thanesar sectors containment zones

SKM pays tributes to Covid victims

Sonepat: The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Tuesday paid tributes to those who died due to Covid. “In collaboration with the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Brigade, we distributed food outside Raja Harish Chandra Hospital. On Wednesday, 20 stretchers will be donated to the hospital,” Dr Darshan Pal, an SKM leader, said in a press release. TNS
