‘Abhivyakti-2024’, a three-day literary festival being organised by the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), began at the Chandimandir Military Station today, with a host of authors and writers from across the country sharing their works, experiences and thoughts.

Themed ‘Explore, Express and Experience’, the event was inaugurated by AWWA President Sunita Dwivedi.

In a session on ‘Timeless Voices: Celebrating Women Writers and Contributions of Army Spouses’, panellists presented their experiences on life in the service, the challenges faced by them and achievements in the face of adversity. In a session on ‘Mythical Modernity: Indian Legends Re-imagined’, participants stressed the need for balance between different socio-cultural perspectives.
