Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today said that around 1 lakh women from Haryana would attend the launching event of Bima Sakhi Yojana in Panipat on December 9.

While addressing party workers in Ladwa on Sunday, the Chief Minister said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Bima Sakhi scheme and around 1 lakh women from Haryana will be attending the event. Duties have been assigned at the booth level across the state. At least 25 women from each booth will attend the event. BJP leaders and workers will make the event memorable.”

He said that the people of Haryana have paved the way for development by electing the BJP government for a third consecutive term. The government is ensuring equal development across all sectors while fulfilling public aspirations.

Targeting the Congress, the Chief Minister said that Congress lacks leadership, which is why Congress leaders keep blaming EVM machines for its electoral defeats.

Speaking to mediapersons, the Chief Minister said that the BJP’s statewide membership campaign was launched a month ago. Under this campaign, a target has been set to enrol 50 lakh new members in the state. Duties have been assigned and the party workers have been asked to achieve their respective targets in the next two days.

About the lack of facilities at drug de-addiction centres raised by Sirsa MP Kumari Selja, the CM said that the government has been making efforts to provide all facilities at the de-addiction centre. If there is any particular centre, the MP can send the details in writing and the government would take immediate action.
