17 check-posts set up in Bahadurgarh
Three companies of paramilitary forces have reached Bahadurgarh town and check-posts have been established at 17 places in the city in order to make tight security arrangements and to ensure smooth conduct of the Assembly elections on October 5.
Mayank Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bahadurgarh, said they were holding meetings with the Delhi police to establish coordination and to share information about criminals and other activities with each other.
“A total of 17 checkpoints have been set up at different locations in Bahadurgarh located on the border of Haryana and Delhi. The CRPF and IRB personnel have also been deployed along with Haryana Police there. Security arrangements are also being made at the polling booths,” he said. The DCP has appealed to the people to inform the police if they come to know about any illegal activities in the area.
