A 13-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself at her home on Monday. The police did not find any suicide note. The victim is identified as Muskan who lived with family in Sarai Alwardi village. Her father works as a labourer. The girl took the extreme step when her father was at work and her mother had gone to the market. When the victim’s father returned home, he found the girl’s body hanging from a ceiling fan.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
