The administration stated that 1,200 Metric Tonnes of DAP (Di-ammonia phosphate) fertiliser has reached the district which is being distributed to the farmers under the supervision of senior officials.

The administration stated that a total of 30,000 MT DAP is required for sowing of wheat and other crops during the season. Till now, nearly 22,000 MT fertiliser has already reached the farmers.

Agriculture officials stated that a large number of farmers are also using triple super phosphate and other fertilisers as an alternate to the DAP to get the same amount of nitrogen and phosphorous.
