One of the oldest women in the country, Indro Bai (118) passed away at her native Ghubaya village in Fazilka district. Hundreds of villager participated in the funeral this afternoon.

Her date of birth has been mentioned as January 1, 1906, on her Aadhaar card.

Indro Bai migrated to India from Pakistan along with her husband during Partition and they settled in Fazilka. According to her grandson, her extended family has over 200 members.
