100 students of Central University of Himachal Pradesh clear UGC exam

More than 100 students of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) have cleared the UGC JRF/NET/PhD Entrance Eligibility Examination, held in August-September.

Of these, 35 are female students. Students of the HPKV Business School, Department of Political Science and Department of Education of the university have the highest representation in this achievement.

From the Department of Political Science, Ranjot Das (PhD), Utkarshni Tiwari (NET), Sakshi Nanda (PhD), Yakub Khan (PhD), Geetika Nanda (PhD), Nitish Kumar (NET), Sheikh Shamina (NET), Sabhya Bhalla (NET), Smriti Thakur (NET), Aman Kumar (PhD) and Vishal Chaudhary (PhD) have cleared the examination.

From the Centre of Bharatiya Panth, Matt, Sampraday and Semitic Religions, Ajay Kumar has cleared JRF and Shruti Sharma has cleared the PhD examination.

From the Department of Library and Information Science, Abhishek has cleared JRF, Diksha has cleared NET, and Amul Rathore and Shaurya Sharma have cleared the eligibility test for PhD admission.

From the School of Education, Himanshu has cleared JRF, Shivam, Nandita, Hitesh, Vikram, Ajay have cleared NET, Som Krishna, Sanjay have cleared the PhD eligibility test, and Rashmi and Sanjogita have cleared the SET examination.

From the Dehra campus of the university, Shankrapu Aswith from the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology, Nitin Soni from the Department of Visual Arts, Pratikhya Devi from the Department of Social Work and Manvi Sharma from the Department of History have passed the NET examination. Mohit Sharma and Pushp Raj Chauhan from the Sanskrit Department have cleared the NET exam.

Two research scholars, Jagjit Singh and Ajay Kumar, from the Punjabi and Dogri Department have cleared the NET exam, Vishvendra Singh from the Srinivas Ramanujan Department of Mathematics has cleared JRF, Piyush has cleared NET, Anshika, Pankaj Kumar and Sahil Thakur have cleared the eligibility test for PhD admission, Komal Bhatia and Sakshi Shah from Zoology Department have cleared JRF, Neha Thakur and Ankit have cleared the NET exam, Sonia Thakur, Ruchi Sharma, Harsh Bhardwaj, Piyush Kumar, Siddharth Kumar, Abhay from the Hindi Department have cleared the NET exam, Priyanka, Bharti Kashyap, Shagun, Sunil Kumar from the Chemistry Department have cleared the SET exam, Anshul Kumar from the Department of Physics and Astronomical Sciences has cleared JRF, Sakshi Kondel, Ritik Saklani have cleared SET, Akshay Kumar has cleared NET, Manoj Kumar has cleared JRF, SET and GATE, and Jaideep has cleared the GATE exam.

Vishal Singh from CBB Centre has cleared the GATE exam. Suvigya Shukla from the New Media Department has cleared the JRF exam, Anish Agarwal (PhD), Anmol Jol (NET), Chetan R. Khawla (NET), Vikalp Chauhan (PhD), Siddhant Gupta, Vikrant Kaundal, Manisha Chauhan, Kritika Sharma (PhD), Gulab Kumar, Divyanshu, Sahil (NET) from HPKV Business School Department have cleared the exam.

Anju Kumari (JRF), Atul Kapoor and Adarsh Shrivas from Yoga Study Centre have cleared the NET exam.

Kushal Thakur from Economics Department has cleared the SET exam.

Vikas Kumar from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has cleared the NET exam.

Vice-Chancellor Sat Prakash Bansal, Registrar Suman Sharma, Dean (Academics) Pardeep Kumar and Dean (Student Welfare) Sunil Kumar congratulated the students and research scholars of all departments on passing the UGC examinations, and wished them a bright future.
