Chandigarh: A team of the UT Forest Department rescued a nearly 10-foot-long python from Lake Club here on Wednesday. Dr Abdul Qayum, Deputy Conservator of Forests, UT, said they received a call on their helpline about the presence of a python at Lake Club. A team of experts was dispatched to the spot, he said, adding that the python was rescued within half an hour and released in the nearby Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary.
