Cinema museum A National Council of Science Museums employee cleans photographs of legendary music directors and singers at the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) in Mumbai. In its centenary year, the Indian film industry is opening its doors to attract tourists. A museum, which will showcase the history of Indian film from regional to mainstream Bollywood fare, is set to open soon in Mumbai. Funded by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) is expected to feature a treasure trove of Indian cinema memorabilia such as vintage 1920s cameras, posters and other such rarities. The Schirn Kunsthalle is running till May 11. The exhibition is dedicated to Rehberger, who is considered one of the most influential artists of his generation.
Masked parade A group of masked men "Zamarron" parade during the carnival in Piasca, Spain. Derived from ancient folklore, the zamarrones, dressed in white masks and skins chase children with a broom. Traditional music accompanies this festive celebration with participants going from door to door begging for sausages, eggs and bacon on their walk from Los Llanos (Piasca) to the village of Los Cos.
