AS we say goodbye to the year that saw much action, and even more reaction, here’s a peek-a-boo at the movers and shakers of the year, who rocked as well as grabbed eyeballs.

Fastest grosser: Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3 broke all records by reaching the 100-crore club within three days of its release. The earlier record had been set by Chennai Express.

Most-watched TV shows: Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus topped the list of most popular shows, followed by Jodha Akbar on Zee TV and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB. Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors was the highest-rated TV reality show.

Most popular song: Dance floors rocked with foot-tapping numbers like "Ghagara", "1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor", "Dhoom Machale", but it was the colourful track of "Lungi Dance" from Chennai Express sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh that took the cake.

Most powerful celebs: Shah Rukh Khan retained the No 1 spot among the most-powerful Indian celebrities in the 2nd edition of Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 List for 2013. Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni came second, followed by Salman Khan. Katrina Kaif was the only woman celebrity in the top 10 list.

Most talked-about link-ups: Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif’s pictures of their holiday in Ibiza, Spain, made much news. Back home, gossip mills worked overtime, after Armaan Kohli and Tanisha Mukherjee were reportedly caught in a compromising position in the Bigg Boss house.
