Micro watermelon

  A
new variety of watermelon called "Pepquino melon" has been
developed in Jinsshan district of Shanghai. Pepuino is a mini replica
of watermelon. It is similar to watermelon in shape and appearance but
measures only three cm in length. The original parent of this fruit is
said to have come from Brazil. Pepquino melon is has many uses and can
be used as salad, made into a light dessert or can even be pickled. It
is not cheap as a one kg bag of this fruit is being sold in China for
160 Yuan (Rs 1,600).
