Orange-coloured raspberry

 A new variety of raspberry has been evolved at the East Malling Fruit Research station of UK. Whereas the usual colour of raspberries ranges from red to purple, the fruits of this variety, which is the outcome of fruit breeding at East Malling, are orange coloured. The variety has been christened, Autumn Amber. Incidentally, there also exists a similar yellow coloured raspberry growing wild in the mid Himalayan region. It is called aakhe and bears fruits of excellent quality.
