taster
Dr Chiranjit Parmar
  Dr. Philip Forsline, a
horticulturist in the US Department of Agriculture, has tasted over
2500 different varieties of apple which makes him the person who has
eaten the maximum number of apple varieties in the world. Dr. Forsline
is the curator of USDA apple variety collection at Geneva in New York
State. During the course of his research on variety evaluation, he
also has to eat a few fruits of each variety. Besides this, every few
years he also has to also roam in the Kazakhstan apple forests to look
for new varieties.
