A woman looks at “Cassiopeia, June 1866” and “The Mountain Nymph Sweet Liberty, June 1866” (R) photographs of a model identified as “Mrs. Keene” on display in the exhibition “Julia Margaret Cameron" featuring work by the great British photographer Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The exhibition is open till January 5, 2014.

Colour wise 

A visitor walks through a work by Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez entitled “Chromosaturation” at La Estampa Museum in Caracas. Carlos Cruz-Diez celebrated his 90th birthday in Paris where he has lived and made his research on colour and kinetic art since the early 1960s.

Trash house

Greg Kloehn sits on the “doorstep” of the “home” he made from a trash dumpster in New York. He bought a new dumpster for $1,000 and slowly created a living space inside and outside of it, including a propane grill (R) and door holding liquour bottles (L). The dumpster sits in the yard of a former foundry now used for an art gallery and event space in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn.
