WORLD’S LARGEST STRABERRY
  An extraordinarily large strawberry was found in Cape Cod on June 14, 2009. This strawberry had a circumference of 9.25 inches i.e. approximately a diameter of 3 inches. The fruit weighed 200 gm. The owners of this fruit said that it was somewhat broader than the head of their pet cat. The owners also claimed that it was the biggest strawberry ever produced. Though there is quite a wide variation in the size of strawberry fruits, yet under normal circumstances a medium-sized fruit has a diameter of 1.25 inches and weighs around 12 gm.
