Normally in fruits, the seeds are located inside the body of the fruit. Most of the seeds are securely embedded in the pulp. But two fruits — strawberry and cashew — are the exceptions to this rule. In strawberry fruits the seeds are placed on the fruit surface all round the fruit. In case of cashew, the seed or the nut is located at the apex of the fruit which is called apple because of its apple like red colour.
