What happens when a family clings together? There’s a crush of space and the house seems to be bursting at the seams. Packed to the Rafters Mondays to Fridays at 9 p.m. on Star World is just that kind of a situation. The story revolves around Julie and Dave Rafter and their three children Rachel, Ben and Nathan. On their silver jubilee wedding anniversary, with the kids finally out of home, Julie and Dave think that they can finally have some time to themselves. But by twist of fate, unforeseen problems loom and all the kids have to move back together. With two of their offsprings coming back home, the third moving next door along with their spouses, the little bungalow has reached its capacity. The house is truly 'Packed to the Rafters’. But that’s not the end of their troubles. Julie soon discovers she is pregnant with her fourth child. And then, start the pulls and pressures resulting in some rib-tickling situation making it a highly watchable show.
