World’s largest watermelon

  The largest watermelon of the world was grown by Lyod Bright in his farm at Hope, Arkansas, USA. The water melon weighed 268.8 pounds (122 kg). This melon was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest.
The Guinness certified it to be a world record in the spring of 2006. The plaque was awarded to Lloyd Bright by Guinness in testimony of this record. It hangs at Dos Loco Gringos Restaurant at Hope.
