Top Chef Monday to Friday at 8 pm on AXN India features 15 chefs who compete for culinary stardom and $100,000 in seed money. Each episode consists of a challenge with very specific requirements where the creator of the best dish is usually granted immunity for the episode. There is also the elimination challenge. The first six episodes pit four chefs against each other; only one chef each week makes the cut. They often have to shop for their own raw materials and have constraint with either time, money or ingredients. Anchored by Padma Lakshmi, it has Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons as judges. Search is on for the perfect dish on Top Chef Detective kids The new animated comedy series Sally Bollywood from Monday to Friday at 2.30 p.m. on Discovery Kids features a young Indian girl Sally, who lives with her parents in a town called "Cosmopolis". Inspired by her detective father, 12-year-old Sally along with her best friend Dowee run a kids-only detective agency. The two solve cases given by their schoolmates. Using her curious mind and Dowee’s intuitiveness, the two crack cases like a pet disappearing or a classroom vandalised by unknown people. The results are guaranteed even in mysteries that defy logic. — NF
