A new variety of grapes, with unusually thin and long berries, has been developed by fruit breeders at International Fruit Genetics, a private fruit breeding company based in Delano, California, after years of hard work. This variety has been named as "witch finger". The berries of winger finger variety are about 1 cm wide and 4 to 5 cm long. These berries are of blue colour and taste like other popular commercial varieties. Witch finger grapes became an instant hit at supermarkets because of their fancy and unusual shape.
