Unravelling the Jurassic mystery

It is a series that set out to create the most accurate portrayal of prehistoric animals ever seen on the screen. Combining fact and informed speculation with cutting-edge computer graphics and animatronics effects, the series took two years to make. Walking with Dinosaurs every Wednesday on BBC Entertainment at 9 p.m. built to size huge, roaring dinosaurs, which were so lifelike that it was Probe life and death of dinos in Walking with Dinosaurs hard to tell the difference. The species represented in the show included the Brachiosaurus, the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Stegosaurus. The story follows these species through 200 million years of existence, and a guide Huxley is there to take audiences through that evolution. Narrated by Irish actor and director Kenneth Branagh, the series takes the help of renowned palaeontologists Michael Benton and Thomas Holtz to shed light on the incredible existence of these giants, who reigned over the earth for more than 100 million years, and then, suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.
