Bane of corruption

Our politicians are so corrupt

They are making our Parliament go disrupt

For their selfish interests

Politicians are making our country poor

But when the media shows their handiwork on TV

They say they are not responsible for all this

Almost everyday, we see in the news

Leaders are found involved in many a scam

Common man asks them

Who’s responsible for this?

Who will work for the development of the nation?

Who will bring the wrongdoers to book?

For all this to change

Our leaders will have to work with honesty

They should not be lazy

Then in no time

Our country will become

What it once was ‘sone ki chidiya’
