And the ultimate season winner from the first-place winners of different segments will carry home a mind-boggling $100,000 in prize money. The show is based on the Japanese series Fun TV With Kato-chan and Ken-chan, and has enjoyed top ratings ever since it debuted 21 years ago in 1990. The present Tom Bergeron has been hosting the show since 2001.
