A little sister

Do you know how lonely it feels

To be the only child of parents

The house feels so lonely

With boredom, the whole day is spent

When parents are out, to whom can I talk?

Talk to my TV or computer

But I think that I have to pass my time

But my heart says I want a little sister

I wish on the day of Raksha  Bandhan 

A rakhi tied by her little hands

And walking by my side for me

The prettiest little sister on this land

Give me a little sister

This is my prayer to you lord

I wish for a sister 

Who would be my best companion
