Saying cheers in the company of your dog at home is the safest thing to do these days. The wife would also remain contented that her husband is not boozing out in the city’s dingy pubs in bad company. Rather, he is sitting with their sophisticated pet. I am not stretching my imagination beyond an undesirable limit, but I did read that Kanwarpreet Singh, a resident of Ludhiana, is a proud owner of a bulldog, a pug and a Saint Bernard. He enjoys drinking in their company. He gives his dogs a non-alcoholic beer that is made from chicken and beef. These days when the traffic police campaign against drunk driving is getting stricter day-by-day, the time has come to stay at home and drink in the company of your pets. Soon special trained dogs will be available in the market, who can give you company for three hours at a stretch, sitting across the table, matching their speed of drinking with yours and wagging their tails at each of your off-repeated silly jokes. I have also heard that
demand of this beer for dogs in Ludhiana is on the rise. My only fear
is that in the coming times, dogs may demand alcoholic beverages. You
may never know some of the dogs, after taking beer, may start barking
in English, or start slurring while barking.
