Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games have come to an end

Queen’s Baton, the British legacy, is back to its realm

Indian metropolis was the sportive rendezvous

The games furor all around was prodigious

The jocks from different nations represented their countries

India was among the apical fronties

The earmarked Gagan Narang went hammer and tongs

Other players were also on song

Those proficient in the games showed their aptitude

The crowd also elicited with great enthusiasm and mood

My perspicacity to games gave a great value to time

As it is disseminated as a poesy from the hands of mine

Happy Dasehra

A popular festival of Hindus is celebrated all over India

The day Lord Rama killed the demon-king Ravana

It signifies the triumph of good over evil

The day also marks the end of Durga Pooja celebrations as navarati

In India, harvest season starts on this day

Kulu, a hill town in Himachal, is famous for the Dasehra fair

Let us celebrate victory of the forces of good over the evil
