Television CARTOONS
with an alien storyline seem to have a great fascination
for kids. After the stupendous success of Ben 10, Cartoon
Network has started yet another series about extra-terrestrial
creatures. Linus & His Giant Friend from Monday

12-year-old boy Linus, who meets a giant alien called Boom, who
has the power to transform into a human being. Linus and his
friends have set up the school astronomy club. They soon detect
that Space Development Centre (SDC), a group of aliens, is trying
to take over planet Earth. Linus and his gang decide to stop them.
Helped by Boom, the boys set out to thwart the evil designs of the
SDC. Funny side up This series is
narrated through flashbacks from the future. How I Met Your
Mother from Monday to Thursday at 11 p.m. on Star World is a
comedy about Ted, who is desperate to fall in love. Ted’s best
friend Marshall has told him that he’s going to propose to his
long-time girlfriend. At that moment, Ted realises that he, too,
should a move on if he hopes to find true love. Helping him in his
quest is another friend Barney, with endless, sometimes outrageous
opinions and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets a
beautiful girl, he’s sure it is love at first sight. But destiny
has something else in store. This romantic comedy is full of funny
situations. It stars Neil Patrick Harris who played a 16-year-old
