White Collar shows an unconventional partnership between a cop and a con man

Sometimes a partnership can be struck between two most unlikely persons. White Collar from Monday to Thursday at 10 p.m. on Star World revolves around Neal Caffrey, a con-man, forger and thief, who is captured by the FBI after a three-year chase. But with just three months left of a four-year sentence, he escapes from a maximum-security federal prison. Peter Burke, the FBI agent, who initially captured Caffrey, sets out to recapture him and finally nabs him. Caffrey then comes up with an interesting offer to Burke that he can help him catch other dangerous criminals but at a price — Burke must set him free to carry out this plan. After initial hesitation, Burke agrees. The unconventional partnership results in the successful apprehension of several white-collar criminals. Caffrey proves to be a great help and Burke realises that he is not trying to escape. But does the mastermind have an ultimate plan up his sleeve? Watch White Collar to find out the answer.

Death-defying series

It is a series with a worldwide cult following. I Shouldn’t Be Alive every Friday at 9 p.m. on the Discovery Channel pushes the limits as survivors of death-defying ordeals relive their experiences at the edge of human endurance — and the moment of truth that kept them alive. Each one-hour episode explores the true stories of survival, focussing on the moral dilemmas, crucial moments and life-or-death decisions of the survivors. Some feats of survival come from the world of professional adventurers and extreme sports — men and women who deliberately invite danger — while others find ordinary people caught in terrible ordeals fighting for their lives. But at the heart of each episode, an agonizing moment reveals key choices that must be made to allow the survivors to cheat death and live to tell their story. NF
