Ulta Pulta
Busy robbers

Everybody is busy these days. Why should then robbers be any exception? Recently three armed men, during a robbery in Greater Noida, didn’t seem to have much time at their disposal. So they uprooted an ATM machine and fled away with it with Rs 32 lakh in it. So next time if your car is stolen, keep your fingers crossed. Maybe the thieves only wanted petrol; they might abandon the car after taking the petrol out.

Sometimes the poor robbers are not as cruel as they have to project themselves. Once a friend narrated a story when some robbers got on a train. They announced that since they were short of time, all men and women should remove their necklaces and rings and hand these over to them. If anybody found their rings too tight, then the robbers threatened to chop their fingers off. Everyone immediately pulled off his or rings without caring for any bruises he or she got in the process.

A judge asked the defence lawyer of a kidnapper: "Why did he kidnap the woman if his intention was not to molest, harass or to demand a ransom?" The lawyer said: "You honour, my client is only a chain snatcher and not a kidnapper. The lady was loaded with heavy jewellery and my client was short of time. So he kidnapped her; his assistants helped him in getting off her jewellery and let her go respectfully!"
