Gritty farmer

Farmer is the backbone of the nation

He sweats a lot to feed the nation

He takes so much pain

To produce the grain

He walks at the thin edge

To produce meat, fish and egg

We enjoy our cup of life up to brim

This is only because of him

But he does not get the benefits of the hardship

As the middleman acts as a sinking ship

He does not even get the recognition

Though he is a feeder of the nation

His problems must be redressed

So that the nation can progress
