Letters from the grave

P.S. I Love You is based on the best-selling novel by the same name

STARRING two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank P.S. I love You on Wednesday at 9 P.M. on Star Movies is a romantic tale with a twist. It is based on the best-selling novel by the same name. The story revolves around Holly Kennedy (Swank), a New York real estate broker, who's left heartbroken after her husband, Gerry (Gerard Butler), dies from cancer. She goes into a deep depression and no amount of support from friends and her mother seems to pull her out of the abyss. Then a strange thing happens — Holly starts receiving love letters from her dead husband. Soon she discovers that Gerry had prepared for his death by writing a series of letters to her, each one instructing her to embark on a new adventure to help her rediscover life. While Holly's mother and friends think that the beyond-the-grave messages are keeping her bound to the past, they soon see that they are helping her piece her life together.
