FAMILIES can cope with big problems but it is the small issues that are difficult to solve is the message behind this heart-warming family sitcom. According to Jim on Monday at 5 P.M. on Star World is about a macho guy (Jim Belushi) who is madly in love with his wife Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith), and his three kids — Ruby, Gracie and Kyle. Though there is plenty of love flowing in the family, Jim has a problem-he cannot stop himself from challenging his wife with his obstinate jungle man chest-thumping. But his disarming charm keeps the flashpoints from blowing into domestic brawls Jim also has an opinion about anything and everything and never shies away from giving advice — solicited or not. Taking up cudgels for him is his brother-in-law and business partner, Andy, hilariously played by Larry Joe Campbell. This Emmy-nominated comedy provides some wholesome family entertainment.
