After two weeks of uncertainty which saw the bickering in the BJP reach its crescendo, there was a strategic pause in all the action surrounding the party on Sunday. Apparently, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has told the party leaders to stay united ahead of Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana and roll out “succession plan” only after the polls.

Dragon on move, India to redraw military plan

The largest-ever ongoing tactical military exercise by China will lead to redrawing of military plans in India. The deployment pattern of troops, equipment and planes along the 3,500-km long Sino-India border is likely to be reviewed and some changes are in the offing, said highly-placed sources.
