AXN revives the magic of The X-Files every Thursday at 7 P.M. This spooky show with a heartpounding script and bizarre sets, enacts scary situations. Gillian Anderson plays Dana Scully and David Duchovny plays Fox Mulder — two disparate FBI agents who are assigned to investigate the bureau’s unsolved cases–known as The X- Files. There is a sense of endless danger somewhat soothed by the platonic love between Mulder and Scully, which simmers but never reaches its logical warmth. Over the years the series has won numerous awards, including the Golden Globe for Best Drama Series and winner of five Emmy Awards.

Parent trap

It has named by The Time magazine as one of the 100 best TV shows ever made. Nine years after it first hit the screen, the cross-generational comedy Gilmore Girls on Sundays at 7 pm on Zee Caf`E9 still rules TRPs and has a huge fan following. The story revolves around the relationship between the thirtysomething single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her teenage daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel). Lorelai, who has lived on the wild side, tries to make sure that her daughter doesn’t follow in her footsteps. But Rory is her spitting image and has the tendency to make the same mistakes that her mother made in her younger days — especially in love and romance.
