Will Smith is the most bankable film star in the world, according to a new survey by Forbes.com. The financial magazine’s website awarded the Hancock star a perfect 10 in its latest celebrity monitor, based on factors such as previous box office success, appeal to different demographics and ability to acquire financing for a film, reports contactmusic.com. Following Smith as runners-up in the list are celebrities Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in that order. "(Smith) can move from doing the pop film to an Ali to a Seven Pounds to The Pursuit Of Happyness, so he’s able to play in all worlds," said John Burman, special projects director for Forbes Media. "I think people just like watching him on screen," he added. Smith’s films have grossed more than $5.2 billion globally, with his biggest box office success being 1996 film Independence Day. Other stars featured in
the top 10 included Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Denzel Washington and
Matt Damon. — IANS
