Millionaire Matchmaker is for girls dreaming of a handsome millionaire husband. The programme on AXN on Thursday at 10 pm is all about dating and (possibly) marrying a millionaire. In every episode, a few millionaires are invited and introduced to beautiful single women. The guys have to be ‘certified’ millionaires. Host Patti Stanger checks out their bank balance, homes, offices and the number of cars or private jet or yacht they have. The ladies, too, have to be ‘women of taste’ and not gold-diggers. Stylish swindlers Hustle every Friday at 10 pm on BBC Entertainment celebrates its fifth birthday this year. The final episode of the fifth season last month attracted 5.7 million—the highest viewership ever. The story revolves around a former convict who gets together a team of glamorous con artists to swindle some of the richest Londoners in a sophisticated style. They first identify the victim, meticulously plan out and always get the better of their victims. Their motto — cheat only those people who deserve to be cheated as you can never cheat an honest man. Series’ creator Tony Jordan says he was inspired by Hollywood blockbusters like The Sting, Gambit and Ocean’s Eleven. — NF
