Dear friend

My friend you’ve left me all alone

Numb with sorrow, I know not my way home

I’m lost, depressed and frightened

For you are not here with me

Somewhere deep inside my heart

My friend you’ll always be

I know you couldn’t help it

And you didn’t want to go

But you left me sad and alone

Although I have my parents

And other friends so close

I don’t know why it is

But I love you friend the most

Your kindness unto others

Has washed onto me

You helped me when times were tough

I know you were a true friend

And for that I love you so

With a heavy heart

This part comes to an end

But I will not say goodbye

You’ll always be my friend

When I was a child I made up my mind

To keep many an animal

Like a dog and a camel

Then, I saw a cat

Looking at the rat

Though the rat was my toy

But the cat was feeling joy

I picked up the rat

Then looked at the cat

And tried to catch it

As I was a little kid

After many hours

I got her at last

Then I thought she must be hungry

As she was looking very angry

I had no eatables indeed

But I found something to fulfil her need

I found a bowl made up of brass

And tried to feed the cat with some grass
