Aap Ki Kachehri on Star Plus is about common people
and their disputes

THE director of blockbuster Con Air, Simon West, brings shooting video game queen Lara Croft to the silver screen. Oscar winner Angelina Jolie plays the agile British archeologist Lara Croft in Tomb Raider on Friday on HBO. Skilled in hand-to-hand combat, weapons, foreign languages and a body-hugging wardrobe, she travels to exotic locations in search of lost crypts and forgotten civilizations. Her tours take her to the Ancient Tomb of the Dancing Light in Cambodia and Siberia’s Temple of Ten Thousand Shadows. She’s got to find two halves of an ancient artifact, before they fall into the wrong hands. Big bikes, big guns, Lara Croft was made for big things. A not-to-be-missed thriller that has 007 Daniel Craig as the male lead.

Real-life drama

No actors, no scripts, no dialogues, no false emotions, no fake controversies. Star Plus brings Aap Ki Kachehri Kiran Ke Saath Monday to Thursday at 10.30 pm. The show is about real people and their disputes. A first-of-its-kind on Indian television, the show offers open hearings of civil disputes and a compassionate yet firm and lawful mediation and arbitration by Dr Kiran Bedi. This journey from despair to hopeful resolution is laden with the promise of fascinating insights into human behaviour and values of our society today, along with promoting a better understanding of our rights and laws.— NF
