RHYME TIME

Girl child

Some years back mothers did

her hair comb

But now they are killing her

in the womb

Love for her is not prevailing

Unfortunately, it has changed

to wailing

Let her be born to wipe away your tears

To make your life full of cheer

Remembering her can make you cry

So why you want her to die

She is my sister for whom I care

She is a gift for me so pure and fair

For me, my sister is like happiness

With whom I share everything

in my sadness

Let her dreams bask

I don’t know why you do a killer’s task

Don’t let her remain fallow

Like a willow weed and mallow

Let’s walk hand in hand

So there is happiness for her everywhere on land

Let us pledge to politely bring her all along

And let her sing her life’s song

Pollution

This is Mother Earth

Gifted by god in every aspect

By man is done to it contamination

Which we refer to as pollution

Every country of the world is contributing

With every part of nature is he interfering

Man is a shameless destroyer

Of its own creator

It is the duty of every human

To contribute as much as he can

To check the increasing size of this monster

And to disarm this enemy forever
